My Published Books

I’ve been a writer for more than 30 years. In that span of time, I have published several chapbooks of poetry and short stories, a children’s book, and even a cookbook. Browse my published works and contact Ru Otto’s Crone’s Nest Enterprises in Seattle, Washington if you’re interested in any of them.

Please Baby, Come.

Penetrate me with your love,

And I will writhe exhaling a soft moan,

And lift myself to you,

Give myself to you,

Twist myself slowly,

To ease you into me,

Even deeper,

Ever deeper,

Because that is where you belong.

That is how we belong

To each other,

Tremulous and erubescent

In the early dawn,

Pulsating together,

In measured beat

With the coming day.

ANIMALS WITH ISSUES is an exhilarating romp through some very weird animal stories, some true, some fantasy. You be the judge.

A Dolphin Named Zephyr

This is my first children’s book and it is dedicated to my grandson Zephyr. The story is about an exuberant young dolphin who goes on an adventure with his mother and a school of yellow-fin tuna. By the end of the day, he is quite happy to be finally home safe, “cradled in his seaweed bed, rocked by the ocean deep.”

RuSandra’s Gastronomical Adventures

We live in a dairy-loving world, and if you happen to be lactose-intolerant or would just like to avoid dairy products for health reasons, trying to cook a meal can be a challenge, to say the least. There are plenty of cookbooks for those who want to avoid meat or gluten or sugar, but it is difficult, if not impossible to find a cookbook that will show you how to incorporate meats in your dairy-free dinner plans. The recipes in this book are some of my favorites and I think you will find them to be both simple to follow and delicious. Bon appetite!
